A number of events concerning Alta Plaza Park are on the calendar.

Cafe Jazz at Alta Plaza is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Sept. 27. Plans for the playground and multisport court will be displayed.  Organizers also want to find out if there is support for moving the off-leash dog area to the northeast area of the park.

On Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. there will be a meeting at the Town School, Jackson at Scott, to approve the final design for the playground.

In mid-November there will be a memorial planting of daffodil bulbs in remembrance of the Sept. 11 victims.  Donations are sought as well as community planting efforts.
