Disaster Training Session Offered

Pacific Heights residents trained as part of the Neighborhood Emergency Response Team – and anybody else who wants some basic information on what to do at home when disaster strikes – are invited to attend a free training and/or refresher session Oct. 11, 9-11 a.m., in Lafayette Park.

People will have an opportunity to use a household fire extinguisher, learn how to turn off utilities, and learn what to look for in deciding if a building is safe to enter.
